Release 1.1 brings a lot of performance fixes, and a bug that would cause the tab to freeze when accessing the inbox and some blog pages on Chrome.

What’s New?
You should be able to get the new version in a couple of hours, but if you don’t, or want to update it manually (recommended):
I keep seeing posts about XKit not having a particular feature while in reality, it actually does.
Not all features of XKit is installed or enabled by default. If I did that, it would change your dashboard too much, and that would, well, upset some users.
There is a reason why XKit have an Extension Gallery. If you have never checked it before, here is some of the features you are missing:
and much, much more! To open the Extension Gallery and get new features, just click on the X icon on top of your dashboard, then click on Extension Gallery!
Also, some extensions are customizable, which you can customize by clicking on the X icon, then selecting Customize Extensions.
There was a bug in some versions of Quick Inbox that prevented the popup menu that appears when you click on the “i” icon on users avatars to appear in the Quick Inbox window. It has been fixed now.
You should get the new version in a few hours, but if you don’t want to wait, or want to do this manually (recommended):
Thanks for using XKit.
There was a bug in some versions of One-Click Postage that prevented adding tags that included the letters “J” and “K” (tumblr’s keys for jumping through the posts.) This has been fixed in version 2.9, and the page shouldn’t “jump” while typing tags.
You should get the new version in a few hours, but if you don’t want to wait, here’s how to update it manually (recommended):
Sorry for any inconvenience, and thanks for using XKit!
There was a bug in Open In New Tabs 1.1 which prevented Follower Checker to not work properly on some configurations. It has been fixed now.
You should get the new version in a few hours, but if you want to update manually (recommended!) here’s how to do it:
Thanks for using XKit, and sorry for any inconvenience.
Just follow the following simple steps to make it work again:
Also, please note that you should’ve gotten the update automatically.
If your One-Click Reblog was not working, it means there is/was a problem with your Automatic Updates extension, please reset XKit by going to www.tumblr.com/xkit_reset.
Thank you.
There was a small bug in the One-Click Postage 2.8 REV B, which can cause the text “Send!” (and a picture) to appear on the end of the asks you answer.
I’m terribly sorry about that, and it has been fixed now. To update it:
Again, I’m really sorry about that.
I’ve made some changes to the following extensions:
You should get the new updates in a few hours automatically. If you don’t want to wait, you can back up your data using XCloud, and do a Clean Restore, which will update all the extensions you have. (recommended.)
I’m also making adjustments on One-Click Postage which will further reduce CPU usage, and make scrolling on dashboard a lot faster. I’ll fully test it, and release it tomorrow.
[UPDATE: I’ve released an update to One-Click Postage today.]
Thanks for using XKit!
Again, sorry about this. It looks like Tumblr made some sneaky changes that refuses reblog requests from XKit when it detects a variable on the form.
Anyway, it took a while but I think I’ve fixed it. You should get the updated version in a few hours. If you don’t, or don’t want to wait, here’s how to update it manually (recommended):
Again, sorry about this, and thanks for your patience!
Feel free to send me any messages if the problem continues.
Again, some changes Tumblr made rendered Show Likes (and Profiler) not work. I’ve fixed Profiler yesterday, and today, Show Likes got fixed too.
You should get the new version in a few hours.
If you don’t, or if you don’t want to wait:
Again, sorry about that, and thanks for using XKit.
It looks like Tumblr changed some stuff so Profiler weren’t working properly.
I’ve fixed it, and you should get the new version in a few hours.
If you don’t, or if you don’t want to wait:
Sorry about that, and thanks for using XKit.
I’ve made some adjustments to Follower Checker:
You should be able to get the new version in a few hours, but if you don’t want to wait:
I am working on making it faster, and update the UI so you can click on the blog names.
Today I’ve updated 4 extensions so they can load up a lot faster. I think I’ve shaved off more than 6% of the CPU use.
To upgrade all your extensions:
More will come tomorrow. =3
A little warning: XBigot is still kinda slow, so you might want to disable it until I update it tomorrow.
I know that XKit can be slow sometimes. And it is slower on Chrome.
And one of the most requested features on the XKit Survey was a faster backend. (after small bug fixes, and new features.)
So I’ve been working on making XKit faster. And there are two ‘phases’ I plan on to make this real:
Thanks for using XKit, and I hope those releases will make the experience a lot better for you.
