XKit

I’ve updated the XKit FAQ with lots of new questions, and their answers.

Including the SRE_02 and the repeating “It looks like you are trying to upgrade!” error messages.

It looks like One-Click Postage on XKit 6 wasn’t working on some pages, like secondary Dashboard pages.

A fix has been released for users of XKit 6 Preview Release. You should get the new update in a few hours automatically. If you don’t want to wait:

1. Click on the X icon
2. Click on One-Click Postage or One-Click Postage Classic
3. Click on Manually Update
4. Go to your dashboard.
5. Done!

I am sorry about this, and thank you for using XKit.

I am aware that the new Tumblr layout is causing One-Click reblog and some other features to not work correctly.

I’ll provide a fix as soon as possible.

XKit 6.0 Preview Release 2 for Google Chrome is out!

1. This release fixes a problem that in some cases might cause XKit to re-install itself when you clear your cache or history.
2. Faster bootstrap downloading and installation
3. Fixed a bug that might in some cases cause a “Wrong Page!” error message to pop up.
4. Improved connection reliability.
5. Various bug fixes.

It looks like I’ve been having some server issues again lately. If you are using XKit 6.0 and having problems connecting to the extension gallery or updating XKit, please read this.

I’ve updated the Update Manager and XKit Control Panel to connect to even more servers to overcome the server errors. Please follow the following steps to update them:

1. Go to www.tumblr.com/xkit_reset
2. Restart your browser
3. Done!
