XKit Framework 5.0 Update: Jan 16
As you might know, I am re-writing parts of XKit. With 5.0 update, I have two aims:
- Re-write the backbone of the script to make it more stable, and more informative to the user if something bad happens.
- Make the whole extension easier to use, and prettier to look at.
To make it more easier to use, I am re-designing the whole XKit Control Panel. Here are some screenshots from the upcoming version:
TOP: Extension Gallery
Extension gallery has been updated for better browsing. Extension icons are being updated to gain “near-photo-realistic” icons.
BOTTOM: Manage Extensions Screen
Now, extensions that are can be configured have a “wrench icon” on their button, allowing you to edit them when you click on them.
To avoid installation and update problems like in the past, I am thoroughly testing the extension, and the new update will be available as soon as it is finished. You’ll need to manually update the “XKit Backbone” to gain the new functionality. (Which is easy: just go to the XKit Download page and re-install the userscript when it is released.)
Thank you for your patience.
