XKit 5.0 Preview Release is here!
After some time in development, XKit 5.0 is (kinda) ready. Now I need users willing to provide bug reports and whatnot.
What’s New in 5.0?
- A completely re-written back end. (called “Framework” or “Backbone” in XKit) It has been re-written to be more stable, functional, and also provide more information to the user if something goes wrong.
- A completely re-written Control Panel, which is not only easier to use, but also prettier to look at. =3
- A new Extension Gallery, which shows the extension icon before you download it (before all you could see was a yellow box on all extensions)
- Quick-Inbox has been updated to fully support Fan Mail, and now allows you to send and reply to Fan Mail without leaving your dashboard.
- Reblog Yourself has been updated so you can now reblog yourself by going to a post your blog (you had to go to your blog page on Tumblr before.)
- Now you can view the XKit Diagnostics Log, and resetting XKit is much more stable.
- Extensions for XKit developers are now hidden by default. I will be opening XKit to third-party developers soon, so if you are interested, send me an ask.
- And much more!
If you are willing to give it a try, click here to install it.
And again, thank you for using XKit.
