Yesterday, Tumblr updated the dashboard. That broke a lot of stuff. So please read this post, as it contains important information about XKit.

Last night and today, I’ve updated several extensions to fix the broken stuff, including but not limited to, the One-Click Postage, XInbox, XPreview and more.

Problem 1: Can’t Get The Updates?

If you didn’t get the updates, (for example: still can’t one-click reblog) it means that something is wrong with your XKit installation. Try the following steps to get the updates:

1. Go to www.tumblr.com/xkit_reset
2. Click OK when it asks you to reset XKit
3. Restart your browser, and go to your dashboard.
4. Done!

Problem 2: XKit 6 on Chrome: “It looks like you are trying to upgrade?”

There was a bug in XKit 6.0 PR1 and PR2 for Google Chrome that keeps a message to appear when upgrading from XKit 4.x or 5.x. You can follow the steps below to fix this:

1. You can Upgrade to XKit 6.0 PR3
2. Go to www.tumblr.com/xkit_reset
3. Restart your browser and re-install XKit again.
4. Done!

Problem 3: XKit 6 on Chrome: “Error Code: SRE_02”

There was a bug in XKit 6.0 PR1 and PR2 for Google Chrome that keeps a message to appear when upgrading from XKit 4.x or 5.x. You can follow the steps below to fix this:

1. Click on the Wrench icon on Google Chrome
2. Click on Extensions
3. Uninstall XKit, then restart your browser and re-install XKit
4. Go to www.tumblr.com/xkit_reset
5. Done!

Still Having Problems?
