I am aware that for a couple of days people are experiencing problems publishing asks, especially from anonymous people.

It looks like there is a Tumblr server problem going on, since for a message you can not publish using XKit, you’ll get a “Sorry, we are having a technical problem” message from Tumblr if you disable XKit.

I am still trying to figure out what is going on, but for now, it looks like a Tumblr-related error. In the meanwhile, you might want to disable XInbox extension from the XKit control panel.
