XKit 6 was not compatible with some changes Firefox 17, resulting it to not being able to start installation, or if installed, not able to access Extension Gallery and some pages.
Since Firefox updates itself on the background, you might have Firefox 17, but installed XKit before it was released. In that case, XKit might also not function properly.
Anyways, I’ve made it compatible, and uploaded it to the XKit website.
If you have Firefox, please follow the following steps:
- If you are not on Firefox 17, upgrade to it.
- Uninstall XKit by going to Tools > Add-ons.
- Restart Firefox
- Download XKit again
- Restart Firefox
- Go to your dashboard and wait a couple of minutes, the Installer should come up.
If that does not work, going to www.tumblr.com/xkit_reset and resetting XKit before going back to the dashboard should fix it.
