First of all, thank you for everyone who participated. Here’s some results from the survey, and opinions.
Before we begin: I’ve used Excel to make the pie-charts, and it assumed that I wanted numbers to be rounded, and I thought it didn’t matter that much. Each value is +/- ~0.5.

Nearly all XKit users are Chrome and Firefox users. Excel rounded the Opera, which is actually around 0.5%. Sorry people, there goes your chance of getting XKit for Opera. I would drop Safari too, but it’s (tech-wise) way too much like Chrome so it does not bother me.

Weirdly, there are still people using XKit 5 or below, even though I can’t think of an XKit 5 extension that still works properly. On webstore, there are around 160,000 XKit 6 users and only 9,000 XKit Next users so I’m just gonna assume that XKit Next value is not correct. The real percentage is more like 90% XKit 6, me believes.

Nothing much to see here, I know most people combine XKit with Tumblr Savior or Missing E.

I should’ve been more precise with this question. I don’t know why people voted XKit 6 or XKit Next now. Is it because of the Extension Gallery? Or XKit Next is faster/less buggier? In any case, XKit 7 is going to be like XKit 6.

Judging from the asks I get and the posts on the XKit tag, I’ve always assumed that nearly all XKit users were annoyed by the news section. Apparently, that’s not the case. XKit 7 is getting a news section too, but will probably behave differently. (ie: no “+1” bubble on XKit icon. many people think they’ve received asks.)

Going to be honest: it would break my heart if I didn’t get this result. Thank you.

The same goes to this one too.
So, after learning about these, I’ve made a few decisions:
- XKit 7 is going to have an extension gallery.
- Also a News section.
- Chrome users will get the latest versions of XKit first for beta testing, followed by Firefox users and then Safarians.
Thank you for participating. I’ll keep you updated on XKit 7 with sneak previews in a few days.
