Introducing In-Dashboard Replies
Replying to posts is fun. Clicking on the reply button, being switched to another tab, waiting for the page to fully load so Tumblr’s input box can appear, is not. So, In-Dashboard Replies are here to save the day your place in the dashboard!
Click on the Reply button, and type your reply and click Reply. And you are done. No new tabs, no waiting. Want to add links, more tags, or upload gifs? Click on Open In New Tab to return to “classic reply mode.”
Please note that this (for now) only works with Old Notifications and the notifications on your dashboard. Notes popup reply button, Activity page and multiple notifications still operates in “classic mode.” I’m working on making it work with them.
It is disabled by default, so to use it, make sure you check the “Enable In-Dashboard Replies” setting under One-Click Reply control panel.
You can wait for XKit to update itself, or update One-Click Reply manually to start using it now.
