CleanFeed is back!

This is great if you follow blogs that sometime might share, well, let’s say, risqué stuff but also want to be able to use your dashboard without worrying about some genital popping up when a stranger or co-worker was staring at your screen.

The CleanFeed on XKit 7 has been re-written from ground up (and don’t worry, it doesn’t cause problems like that problematic XKit Next release - so sorry about that by the way) to protect you!

  • Hide the avatars option (if some blogs you follow have NSFW avatars)
  • Full Block mode that hides all non-text (audio, video, etc) posts completely

Because it’s re-written, I don’t know how well it performs, to be honest, so don’t use it to show your dashboard to your boss if you follow lots of porn blogs. So get it at the Extension Gallery and let me know how it works =3

Bookmarker is back on XKit 7!

Sorry to keep you waiting for it for this long, but I’ve just finished Bookmarker for XKit 7. It’s rewritten from the ground up, so I’m not sure if I caught and found all the bugs, so if you ever encounter an error, please let me know!

Attention, Firefoxers!

XKit 7 is now available in Firefox, albeit in early-beta form. Yes, you might encounter some errors, and I’m counting on you to report them to me so I can fix them.

Now you can enjoy the brand-new backend, XIM, new extensions such as Read More Now and Soft Refresh!

Warning: As stated, this is an early beta. Please follow the instructions on the page, and do not install XKit 7 if you are uncomfortable with this. When XKit 7’s stable version for Firefox comes out, you’ll be alerted if you are using XKit 6.

XIM Update 1.6

This version of XIM brings some new features:

  • Ability to block messages from people who are not on your buddy list.
  • Ability to limit XIM to only load on your dashboard. (This is enabled by default so you might want to turn it off to use your sideblogs.)
  • Turn on/off the flashing “New XIM” message on titlebar
  • Status icons on message windows
  • Help & Status button added to sidebar

I’m working on the overload problem on the server and hopefully there won’t be much downtime by this time next week.
