XKit 7.4.3 is now available for Chrome

This version brings support for In-Dashboard Blogs (“Sidebar Blogs”): I’ve updated a few extensions, including One-Click Postage and Tag/ReplyViewer to work on the sidebar, but you need this version for them to work.

To get it, you can wait for Chrome to update it, or you can update it manually. After upgrading, make sure to update all extensions from XKit Control Panel > Other > Update All. (Or wait for XKit to update itself.)

It’s still pretty experimental, so please let me know if you experience any problems by sending me an ask.

I’m working on Safari/Firefox ports to bring this feature to them, and they should be available in a few days. Thank you for your patience.

Tweaks Version 2.7 Rev A

This version includes a new feature, written by hackedy, that removes the “web” and “tumblr” search buttons on the search bar and restores the “new” box that appears when you have unread posts on tracked tags.

To use it, make sure you have Tweaks 2.7 Rev A (you can use XKit Control Panel > Tweaks > Update to update it manually or wait for XKit to update itself) then enable “Remove the web search button and show a "new” bubble when tracked tags update“ under the "Navigation and Search Tweaks” section of the Tweaks control panel.

Introducing XKit Classic User Menu

A new option under the newly-renamed “User Menus+” now allows you to get back the “classic” menu. For now, it’s missing the Follow/Unfollow buttons (which I’m still trying to reverse-engineer), but with it you can again gain quick access to user actions.

It is disabled by default, so you need to enable it from XKit Control Panel > User Menus+ > Enable XKit’s Classic User Menu

It is also experimental, so please send me an ask if you hit any bugs. Thank you!
