XThemes 2.0 is out!

I admit that the “Themes” extension (and themes) have been neglected for a while, and I re-wrote the Themes extension from scratch to bring it up to date.

What’s new?

  1. A much faster back-end.
  2. Theme previews while downloading or selecting a theme.
  3. Themes re-wrote from scratch to be more faster.

You will get the new extension in a couple of hours, but if you don’t want to wait, you can update it manually (recommended!):

  • Click on the X icon on your dashboard
  • Click on Manage Extensions
  • Select Themes
  • Click on Re-install / Manually Update This Extension
  • Refresh pages.

Note that you need to download and select a theme again, as your theme preferences will be reset.
